Bay Village Kiwanis Annual Christmas Tree Sale

At Cahoon Memorial Park Gazebo until December 10, or while supply lasts. Hours are Fridays from 4 :00 pm until 7:00 pm as well as Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm. Canaan Firs, Fraser Firs and Colorado Blue Spruces ranging in size from 6 to 11 feet will be available while supply lasts. Prices start at $65 and vary depending on variety and size. All proceeds to benefit community service projects and programs.

Rose Hill Museum Hours & Events

Rose Hill Museum will be open free of charge and beautifully decorated for the holiday season. This year’s display will highlight the White House Christmas cards designed by artist and Bay Village native Thomas William Jones, along with other Bay Village scenes. While at the museum, guides will be dressed in period costumes and you can search for hidden holiday Nutcrackers! The Victorian Parlor at Rose Hill will be getting a facelift this winter. Come see it as it has been for the past 50 years. beautifully decorated for the holidays and open for visitors! 

December 10, Open 2 pm until 4:30 pm - Bay Middle School seventh grade strings perform at 2:30 pm and pictures with Mr. & Mrs. Claus available in the antique sleigh from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. $20 cash or check donation suggested. Sign up for your photo using this link.  

December 13, Open 4 pm until 7pm - High school string quartet performs at 4:15 pm and “The Night Before Christmas” will be read by Preston Postle 

December 17, Open 2 pm until 4:30 pm - “The Night Before Christmas” will be read by Preston Postle 

December 20, Open 4 pm until 7pm - “The Night Before Christmas” will be read by Preston Postle

Spinning and weaving demonstrations on the 1830’s loom by the Medina Spinning and Weaving Guild, the Lorain County Spinners and Weavers and the Crooked River Rug Hookers will be held every day the museum is open, and items woven on it will be available for purchase.  Stop by for great gifts in the museum gift shoppe, it will be open for holiday purchases when the museum is open. This is also a great opportunity to see the newly constructed working model of the Cahoon family gristmill. Hope to see you there!
