Public Meeting History: Stay in Bay Mixed Use Zoning Overlay

Three public input meetings have been held to explain the project and hear from residents. The first two meetings were held at the Dwyer Center and the third was held online through Zoom. Jason Russell of Concord Consulting presented at the meetings.

Many Planning Commission meetings included discussion of and work sessions for the overlay:

The Planning and Zoning Committee discussed the overlay at the December 14, 2020 meeting.  The agenda (PDF) and meeting minutes (PDF) are available for review. 

An update about the plan was provided to City Council at the December 21 meeting (PDF).

The Planning, Zoning, Public Buildings and Grounds Committee discussed the overlay at the meeting on January 6, 2021. The agenda (PDF) and meeting minutes (PDF) are available for review.

Jason Russell provided a review and update on the zoning overlay at the March 15, 2021 City Council Committee Meeting. The agenda (PDF) and meeting minutes (PDF) are available for review.

On May 17, 2021, a public hearing was held about the zoning overlay in the Council Chambers at City Hall and via Zoom.

A public meeting about the overlay will be held on October 5, 2021 at 7:00 pm at Bay Village City Hall.
