Electricity Aggregation Program

The Bay Village electricity aggregation program provides residents with consistent electricity pricing through an electric generation supplier certified by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio. This program was first approved by Bay Village voters in May 2010. The program is available to all residents and small businesses in the city.

Energy Harbor

Bay Village selected Energy Harbor to provide our electric generation at a fixed rate of 5.04¢ per kilowatt-hour (kWh) through November, 2023. If you are enrolled in the aggregation program, Energy Harbor is identified on your electric bill as your Supplier. More information on where to find your electricity supplier on your bill.

If you’re not already participating, you can join at any time by contacting Energy Harbor at 866-636-3749. There is no cost to enroll. Once you join the program, your future bills will reflect the price listed above (5.04¢ per kWh) from Energy Harbor after your enrollment has been completed and your switch has been finalized, in approximately 30 to 45 days depending upon your meter read date.

You are not obligated to participate in the electric aggregation program. If you do not want to participate, you can opt out by contacting Energy Harbor at 866-636-3749.

Dynegy

Bay Village recently finalized a new agreement with Dynegy that will start in December, 2023 and continue for 3 years.  The new rate for electricity will be 7.351¢ per kWh, with an option to opt in for 100% National Wind at 7.751¢ per kWh. If you are currently in the electric aggregation program, you will automatically be moved into the new contract at the 7.351¢ per kWh rate. More information on that agreement will be sent out beginning the week of September 11.
